Senior Electrician New
Senior Electrician New
You'll handle the electrical installation of custom motorized pergolas and outdoor living systems at high-end homes and commercial properties across South Florida. We need someone who does quality work from day one and wants to grow into our Senior Lead Electrician as the electrical department expands. Quality, reliability and attention to detail matter a lot in this role.
What you'll do
- Run home runs from the panel to the structure, including conduit, junction boxes, disconnects, underground conduit and trenching for freestanding builds
- Complete rough-ins and trim-outs: GFCI receptacles, ceiling fans, LED recessed and strip lighting, transformers, drivers, dimmers, switches and controls
- Install and connect motors and motor control systems, and troubleshoot lighting, motor and control issues
- Work from electrical plans and build every install to NEC, the approved plans and manufacturer specs
- Prepare for inspections, attend them when needed and close out corrections quickly
- Coordinate with install crews and Project Managers, and flag material needs or field issues before they delay a job
- Keep your company vehicle, inventory and job sites organized, and document completed work
What you bring
- Hands-on experience with residential or light commercial rough-in and trim-out
- Working knowledge of the NEC and comfort reading electrical plans
- Experience with LED lighting, low-voltage drivers and controls, and motor wiring
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- A professional presence on high-end residential and commercial job sites
- Valid driver's license, and comfortable working outdoors in Florida heat and on ladders
Where this role goes
This position is built to grow into Senior Lead Electrician. As you show technical skill, leadership and knowledge of our systems, you'll take on more:
- Owning the electrical scope of projects from rough-in through final inspection
- Reviewing plans and lining up labor, materials and tools before crews arrive
- Training junior electricians and helpers, and reviewing the quality of their work
- Building our electrical install standards, procedures and checklists
- Scheduling and overseeing multiple technicians across active projects
A plus: journeyman or master license, experience with outdoor and wet-location work, motorized shades or smart-home controls, and conversational Spanish.
Comptroller / Controller New
Comptroller / Controller New
You'll lead accounting and financial operations for a growing construction company with many projects running at once. This is a senior, hands-on role: you'll own the numbers and work directly with ownership to give them accurate, timely financial information they can act on. Construction accounting experience is required, and this is not a bookkeeping position.
What you'll do
- Lead accounting and financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly and annual statements and the month-end and year-end close
- Run construction job costing and WIP: budgets, committed and actual costs, cost-to-complete and project profitability
- Review contract values, change orders, deposits, progress billing, draws and final collections, and catch margin erosion early
- Build the annual budget, ongoing forecasts and cash-flow plans
- Oversee AR, AP, banking, reconciliations and the general ledger in QuickBooks Online
- Set internal controls and procedures, and manage and develop the accounting team
- Work with outside CPAs, banks and insurance partners on tax, reviews and year-end
- Improve reporting, automation and the connection between accounting and operations as we scale
What you bring
- Construction accounting experience (required)
- Senior accounting leadership as a Controller, Comptroller, Assistant Controller or equivalent
- Hands-on WIP reporting, job costing and construction revenue recognition
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Cash-flow forecasting, budgeting and financial planning
- Experience supervising and developing accounting staff
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
Who does well here
Someone who takes ownership of the numbers and understands construction operations as well as accounting. You're as comfortable reviewing one project's costs as the full financial statements, you spot margin and cash-flow problems before they grow, and you want a long-term role helping an established company build the financial structure for its next stage.
A plus: bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA or CMA, QuickBooks Online, construction or project-management software integrations, and experience helping a privately held company scale its accounting.
Pergola Installer
Pergola Installer
Join an install crew building Pergola X and Cabana X systems at homes and businesses across South Florida. You'll assemble and set aluminum structures, install louvers and screens, and leave every site finished and clean.
What you'll do
- Assemble and install aluminum pergolas, cabanas and motorized screens
- Lay out, anchor, level and square structures to the approved plans
- Load, unload and protect materials on site
- Work with the electrician and crew lead to finish each job on schedule
What you bring
- 1+ year of construction experience working with aluminum installation
- Working knowledge of power tools
- Valid driver's license
- Able to lift 50 lbs or more
A plus: carpentry experience.
Warehouse Worker
Warehouse Worker
Keep materials organized and moving so install crews have what they need when they arrive on site.
What you'll do
- Organize the warehouse and keep inventory accurate
- Load and unload material, including with a forklift
- Deliver material to job sites
What you bring
- Forklift experience
- Valid driver's license
- Able to lift 50 lbs or more
